Dr. Lydia Dyas

Dr Lydia Dyas graduated from Melbourne University in 1997. After graduating, Lydia moved back to her home state of Tasmania to work in Kingston, just outside Hobart. She gained experience with small animals, wildlife, and livestock and horses on local hobby farms. Lydia moved to the UK in 2000, and worked as a locum in many different practices around England and Wales. She then returned to Melbourne in 2003 and has been working at East Malvern Veterinary Clinic since 2014.

She has a special interest in surgery and “pocket pets”, and has completed post-graduate studies in Small Animal Surgery and Ophthalmology. She has also received certification as a PennHIP member and as a Hill’s Nutritional Advisor.
Lydia’s family pets include two cats “Arrow” & “Sunny”, two guinea pigs “Jordan” & “Squewe” and a blue tongue lizard “Cheeky”
